A Multisensory Journey into the Heart of Italy

Zeranta is proud to collaborate with MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects in the realization of the Italian Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka. This ambitious project, which brings together top Italian and international experts, represents an extraordinary opportunity to showcase Italy’s cultural and technological excellence on a global stage through an immersive and innovative experience.

Within the Pavilion, Zeranta is responsible for the visitor experience design and production of multimedia content that will guide visitors through an emotional journey. Through interactive installations, engaging storytelling, and cutting-edge technologies, the goal is to allow the public to fully experience the essence of Italian culture, history, and innovation.

The Ideal City: A Reimagined Renaissance Concept

Inspired by the Renaissance concept of the “Ideal City,” the Italian Pavilion is conceived as a space that bridges the past and the future. The theme of Expo 2025, Designing Future Societies for Our Lives, is perfectly reflected in the concept of the Italian Pavilion. The design expresses Italy’s core values, combining elements of urban space, theater, and gardens—each deeply rooted in Italy’s artistic and architectural tradition. Within this narrative, Zeranta contributes to this vision by creating experiential spaces that embody the harmony between humans, the environment, and technology, which are central themes of Expo 2025.

Working closely with MCA and other project partners, Zeranta brings its expertise in storytelling, experience design, and multimedia production to craft an engaging and immersive journey within the Italian Pavilion. Through interactive and audiovisual experiences, visitors will be guided through a narrative that highlights the ingenuity, creativity, and heritage that define Italy. Furthermore, by integrating cutting-edge multimedia technologies with compelling storytelling, Zeranta aims to make the Italian Pavilion a truly memorable experience—not just a celebration of Italian culture but also a space for dialogue on sustainable and innovative urban development for the future.
